Prior to starting La Plata, Geoff co-founded and served as President of a real estate investment company focused on the acquisition and management of manufactured housing communities. In just over one year, Geoff developed the company’s strategy and acquired 12 communities totaling more than $20 million in value.

In his early career, Geoff was part of a twelve-person team that started Steele Street Bank & Trust (SSB&T). Geoff significantly impacted the bank’s growth as a commercial lender, a commercial team leader, and as a member of the bank’s Senior Management team until MidFirst Bank acquired SSB&T in 2015.Geoff then spent 3 years with MidFirst, where he grew his personal loan portfolio from $114 million to $235 million in loan commitments.

Geoff received a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from the University of Colorado and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School, Graduate School of Banking. He has served several non-profit organizations as a Board member and a volunteer.
